Steve Jobs was one of the leading figures in computer science and information technology of our time. For this reason, I would suggest this book as essential reading for the convincing human representation created by Isaacson.

If you are interested in the financial situation going on in Europe, you will find that Boomerang: Travels in the New Third World is one that you will have a hard time putting down. Written by Michael Lewis, who has a reputation of making anything he writes about fascinating, did a wonderful job on this book.
This book addresses the debt crisis facing Europe today and that the economy is in a very dangerous state. He also visits places that were hard hit by the tsunami and tells about how they took advantage of the cheap credit that was available and how that only made the debt crisis worse, not better.

The book is written based on articles that Michael Lewis wrote for vanity fair and is a companion to his bestselling 2010 book, The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine, which was about the fiscal crisis. You will find that Boomerang: Travels in the New Third World is written very similar to his bestseller because it doesn’t give a general overview but it has a smaller focus and allows you to view the crisis from your perspective. It does give great insight to how the economic crisis in Europe is going to play a big role in the state of the economy all over the world.

If you find the state of the world’s affairs to be interesting, especially the economy, this book is a must read. Michael Lewis does a great job of informing the reader while keeping the topic fascinating. It is a page turner that you will not want to put down until it is finished, and Michael Lewis accomplishes this by his writing style. He keeps the reader engaged throughout the book and makes you realize that the economy is something everyone should be concerned about.
